José Luis Martí: “We won a very hard match even though it was not our best performance”

C.D Leganés’ manager José Luis Martí attended the media after the pepineros’ 1-0 win against C.D Mirandés, the third consecutive win at Butarque. “We won a very hard match. We should try to finish the game and score the second goal. We must continue working to improve”

When asked about Arnaiz’s goal, he highlighted that “it is the players’ merit and their competitive and winning mentality. As coaches the only thing we must do is to exploit that and give them freedom. José is finding great rhythm and we hope he continues scoring”. Martí also was asked about the team’s performance on the first ten matchdays of the league. “We are lacking of consistency and try to create more good moments during the match. I am happy about how we have understood the matches. The team has been able to read the situations and I am proud of that”.
