Kevin Bua was officially presented as C.D Leganés’ new player. The Swiss player is excited about the new stage of his career at Spain and hopes to bring joy to the white and blues’ fans.
C.D Leganés’ sports director Txema Indias welcomed the midfielder: “He is Swiss but has a lot of roots in Spain. He has played all his career in his country, he won titles with Basel and played important matches in Europa League and Champions League. He likes to attack from the left side of the pitch and adapts well playing as an attacking midfielder. He has good ball control and scores. Signing him was not easy but he always was willing to join us”.
Kevin Bua said he was exited to arrive at C.D Leganés: “Most of my family live in Spain, my parents are from Galicia and Zamora so it is a big project for me in both the sports and family side. I have always watched the Spanish league and always wanted to play here. Sometimes you get what you want, and this is one of them”.
“I feel Good playing in the wings or behind the forward”
The new player of the team defined himself: “I feel good playing in the wings or behind the forward. I must put everything from myself so I can get some minutes at the pitch. Everyone knows the spanish football, it is well played with the ball but is also physical. I like to run from the back with the ball, face the defenders and getting deep in the areas. I also like to assist and score, I am a fast player. At the end it will be the fans the ones to watch me and give their opinions”.
Kevin thinks hardwork is the key to reach the objectives: “I had a conversation with the coach before signing and he was clear about what the club wants from me. It is important to give our best during the season to reach our objective. Spanish football has a lot of quality and I believe in this project. I would not be here if I did not believe on it. There is a lot of motivation, if you are in Leganés is because you are meant to reach the objectives. We must work hard and give our best at the pitch”.
