Leganés managed to get a point after the 1-1 draw against Alavés. Lucas Pérez (46’) for the visitors and Guido Carrillo (58’) for the pepineros were the goal scorers.
First half was pretty leveled between the teams, both playing solidly and making it hard for each one to create chances.
Leganés got the first first-half chance with shot by Óscar after a cross by Bustinza from the right, it was stopped by Pacheco. After that the game was frequently paused and without many options, except by a free kick chance by Oscar at 35’.
The second half was more disputed. At 46’ Alavés managed to score when Lucas Perez found a lossen ball and shot with no defense. The pepineros started to react after the first goal creating more pressure on its rivals’ part of the pitch. Guido Carrillo with a header got to score at 58’ allowing to tie up the game.
Javier Aguirre made some changes on the team and Bryan Gil had the chance to replace Aitor Rubial looking to add some speed to the match. None of the teams managed to score another goal and the game ended with a draw 1-1.
With this point, C.D Leganés makes 20 points and continue its pursuit to stay at first division.
