C.D Leganés could not get any points against Sevilla F.C after losing 0-3 on the 33rd matchday of the season that was played at Estadio Municipal Butarque. Two goals by Óliver Torres on the first half and one by Munir on the second defined the win for the sevillistas.
Sevilla FC started the match taking control of the ball possession, controlling the rhythm, and using the wings to attack. On the 5’ Leganés saw their first difficulty: Omeruo could not continue after suffer an injury and Chido Awaziem was chosen to replace him on the pitch.
Two goals by Oliver in the first half
Sevilla continued with the control of the match and started attacking Cuéllar’s goal harder. Roque Mesa tried from outside, but Sevilla was the first team that scored through Oliver Torres who picked the ball from outside after a corner and managed to put it through Leganes’ defenders’ legs. Leganés continued to try to tie the match after the first goal received.
Guerrero had the best chance for Lega on the first half after the hydration pause with a header that Vaclik managed to stop. One minute later, Oliver Torres scored again for the visitors after getting in the area and shooting the ball from inside. 0-2 after the first half.
Munir scored the last goal on the 81’
Javier Aguirre tried to put some freshness to the team with a triple substitution: Rubén Pérez, Aitor Ruibal and Assalé got into the match on the 54’. The pepineros tried to bring some danger to their rivals’ goal through Rubén Pérez and Aitor Ruibal. On the 81’ Munir scored the third and last goal of the match. Nothing relevant occurred after that except for shoot by Manu Garrido that Vaclik stopped.
Leganés has 25 points on the table and the team’s next match will be this Sunday (17:00h) against R.C.D Espanyol.
