Leganés has officially presented the last signings of the club: midfielder Luis Perea and goalkeeper Diego Conde. Both players are excited about the new campaign that is about to start and have high hopes for the next year.
The sports director of the club Txema Indias welcomed the players: “They are young players with great physical qualities. Luis is a midfielder that plays well with the ball and is excited to wear Leganés’ jersey. Diego has grown a lot as Navalcarnero and Atlético de Madrid 'B' goalkeeper, he has a great present and future. We wish both good luck”.
Luis Perea is happy with his first days as a pepinero: “I’m thankful with Leganés for the trust and the effort they have done to take me here. It is a great challenge and I cannot wait to put the shirt on for league games. I had some options but decided to come here because I consider this is a developed club. It is a challenge that I am looking forward to face. It means a step forward in my career, I have arrived here to learn and help”.
Diego Conde also showed excitement after his first words as a pepinero: “It is my first experience as a professional and I am very thankful with the club for that. I am convinced that this is going to be a fantastic season in which we will accomplish our objectives. The goalkeeper position is very special. I am aware of the club I am arriving to and how competitive it will be. I consider myself a working goalkeeper that is constantly trying to improve”.
