C.D Leganés will receive Real Oviedo’s visit this Sunday (18:15h) at Estadio Municipal Butarque for the eighth matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will be looking for their third win against the carbayones.
C.D Leganés will play at Butarque for the second consecutive matchday. The pepineros won their last match against Real Zaragoza on Thursday (1-0) and will now face another big challenge to continue climbing spots in the league’s table. The white and blues will be looking to get their third consecutive win after winning against the maños and U.D Logroñés.
The pepineros’ manager José Luis Martín will be able to have Juan Muñoz again on his squad after he recovered from Covid-19. Lasure will also be part of the squad after not being able to do against Real Zaragoza because of his contract’s clauses. Rosales, Jonathan Silva and Róber Ibáñes will not be able to play because of injuries.
Real Oviedo will look for their first win away from home
Real Oviedo arrives to Butarque looking to get their second consecutive win of the season. The asturianos have been solid in the league and have tied on four occasions with only five goals against. They have not been able to win away from Carlos Tartiere Stadium and will be looking to get their first one.
The blues’ manager José Ángel Ziganda will not be able to have the midfielder Edgar González who is sanctioned after receiving his fifth yellow card on his previous match against Rayo Vallecano. A total of twenty-three players will be part of the ovetenses squad.
