C.D Leganés will receive F.C Cartagena’s visit this Sunday (20:30h) at Estadio Municipal Butarque. It will be the third matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will seek to win again at home after doing so on the first matchday of the season against U.D Las Palmas.
José Luis Martí’s team won on their debut match at Butarque and lost on their first away match against C.D Lugo (2-1). The white and blues will be looking to sum points again and get stronger at home. Summing three points will be key for the team to take top spots at the league from the beginning.
The pepineros’ manager will be able to count with the left-wing defender Daniel Lasure who arrived from Real Zaragoza this week. Martí also confirmed that it will be difficult to have Cuéllar, Bustinza, Jonathan Silva and Kevin Bua, the first three because of physical problems and the last one because he has just joined the team and is acquiring competition rhythm.
F.C Cartagena will be looking for their first win after returning to LaLiga SmartBank
On the other hand, F.C Cartagena will play at Butarque eleven years after their last visit. They have returned to LaLiga SmartBank and are looking to get their first win in the competition after tying the first match against Oviedo and loosing at home against Real Sporting last week.
The visitors’ manager Borja Jimenéz will not be able to count with the defender David Andújar after he was sent off on the last match and has a one-game sanction. Álex Gallar, who is the last signing of the albinegros may be able to make his debut.
Mr. D. Saúl Ais Reig will be the referee of the match.
