C.D. Leganés visits U.D. Las Palmas this Sunday (20:30) at the Gran Canaria Stadium, in a match corresponding to the twenty-second matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros are looking for a good start of the second round of the championship against a rival they already defeated in the opening match of the competition.
Twenty-two days have had to elapse for C.D. Leganés to face a league match again. The Blue and Whites have not competed in the regularity tournament since January 2, when they obtained a point in their visit to C.F. Fuenlabrada. Since then, the postponement of the match against U.D. Almería and the weekend reserved for the Copa del Rey round of 32 have meant that the team did not compete again with points in dispute. For the clash on the islands, C.D. Leganés will be looking for three new points with which to settle in the upper part of the table.
