Rubén Pardo named Five Star Player of the Month for January

The fans of C.D. Leganés have chosen midfielder Rubén Pardo as their team's best player in the month of January. The player from La Rioja was one of the most outstanding players in the matches played by the pepineros last month, and wins his second trophy after the one obtained in November 2020.

Rubén Pardo has been recognized by his fans as the Five Star Player of January. The '25' pepinero took part in the two league matches played by the Blue and Whites in the month, against C.F. Fuenlabrada and U.D. Las Palmas, scoring a beautiful free kick goal against the islanders, as well as in the cup tie against Sevilla F.C. This award is organized by Mahou, the official beer of the pepinero club.
The footballer from Rincón de Soto wanted to thank the fans for their support: "To thank them, I will continue working to improve and that great things come this year".

Dynamics of the Five Star Player election

Fans vote via Twitter, on the @futbolmahou profile, with the collaboration of the official C.D. Leganés account (@CDLeganes), for their chosen player among the five proposed by the club on a monthly basis with the hashtag #JugadorCincoEstrellas (#FiveStarPlayer). To vote they have to mark retweet or favorite the name of the player they want to be awarded the prize, within the deadline set for collecting votes. Once the votes are counted, the winner is determined.
The Five Star Player is awarded monthly and, at the end of the season to choose the best player of the team. With initiatives like this, Mahou Cinco Estrellas once again demonstrates its loyal support to C.D. Leganés by offering the Blue and Whites' fans the experience of being part of this award.
