C.D. Leganés midfielder Rubén Pérez spoke to the club's media before the match that the pepineros will play this Sunday (18:15) against Real Sporting at Butarque. The '21' of the Blue and Whites is expecting a complicated match, but he assures that the team will give their best.
The second captain of the pepinero believes that the team is in a good moment: "In the first round we played a great match against a Sporting that has many options to enter the play-offs. We came from good matches against Espanyol, Ponferradina and Alcorcón and we face this one with the confidence that comes from a victory".

Regarding Sporting, the Blue and Whites' midfielder does not trust their four-game winless streak: "In this category, anything can happen in any game. Sporting is a very well worked team that likes to have the ball, and it will be a more difficult match than we think. Djuka is having a very good season and we have to be very attentive, but both to him and to the rest".
As for the final stretch of the season, Rubén Pérez assures that the team faces it with confidence: "We have been practically all season in play-off positions, but the numbers of this year's top teams are something out of the ordinary.
