The players of C.D. Leganés had an unexpected support in their Copa del Rey elimination against Sevilla F.C. played at Wanda Metropolitano. The families of the players were able to send their encouragement from the LED screens in the stadium thanks to the app SEYU 'together for victory', with which the pepineran club has a collaboration agreement.
The blue-white players were not aware of this surprise and, as soon as they went out to warm up, they were able to see the pepineran fans cheering, as they had done on other occasions. But, this time, among all those fans were also their families, who joined the initiative and took pictures sending messages of support to their loved ones.
"We have seen our relatives, in my case, my girlfriend and my son, and that always gives you an extra boost," said Borja Bastón at the end of the meeting. For his part, Asier Riesgo valued the initiative positively: "Having them closer at this time always gives joy and help".
