A serious Leganés gets a point in their visit to Mallorca (0-0)

The pepineros return to score away from home in their fight for permanence.

C.D. Leganés got a point away from home in their visit to R.C.D. Mallorca (0-0), in a match corresponding to the thirty-second round of LALIGA EA SPORTS. The pepineros played a serious match in which they had their chances to win, but in the end the scoreboard did not move.

Leganés took the field at Son Moix with two changes from the last matchday's lineup, with Yvan Neyou and Diego García replacing Óscar Rodríguez and the suspended Dani Raba. The Pepineros started the match well, with the novelty of Alti as left winger and the Ivorian youth player Yan Diomande starting as right winger, against a Mallorca team that tried to take control of the game in the first quarter of an hour of the match.

Javi Hernández had a chance on 17' after a set up from a corner, with a triangulation that the player from Jerez finished with a deflected left-footed shot. Mallorca responded in the 22nd minute with a deflected shot by Abdón after a rebound in our area. The minutes passed and neither of the two teams managed to test the opposing goalkeepers, with defenses prevailing over attacks. In minute 42, Cissé had a chance, who connected with a first-time shot from Rosier's cross, but Greif stopped the Guinean's attempt. With the score at 0-0, the game went to the break.

Jorge Sáenz and Miguel had the best chances for Leganés in the second half

The second half started without changes, with a first shot by Yan Diomande in 53' after a good collective play by Lega. The Blue and Whites were looking to take the lead in a good start after the restart, with another dangerous shot by Jorge Sáenz in the 61st minute that went narrowly wide. After the match was stopped for a few minutes due to medical attention in the stands, Domenech had a shot in the 72nd minute for Mallorca that went wide of Dmitrovic's goal.

In the 75th minute, Borja Jiménez made his first two changes, bringing on Óscar Rodríguez and Miguel de la Fuente in place of Cissé and Diego García, looking to freshen up the attack. Miguel himself headed in Rosier's cross in the 78th minute, but Greif turned it behind for a corner. In minute 80, Darko Brasanac replaced Neyou in midfield in the third Blue and Whites' substitution. Darko himself and Rosier found themselves up against the defense in 87', and on the counter, Larin had a chance for Mallorca, but his shot went high.

The last chance of the match, with both teams looking for the victory, was for Mallorca, in the boots of Antonio Sánchez, but Dmitrovic saved the last approach of the match. Leganés has one point away from home, is placed with 29 in the standings and their next match will be this Thursday (19:00) against Girona F.C. in Butarque.
