Paco López: "We created enough to score"

C.D. Leganés coach Paco López appeared at a press conference this Saturday following the match between the Pepinero team and C.D. Mirandés at Mendizorroza, corresponding to the ninth round of the LALIGA HYPERMOTION season, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

The coach gave his assessment of the match:

Match assessment: "Results are always fair. If you analyze the match carefully, firstly, we were very dominant, we had good possession, we got into the box, we had seventeen shots, seven on target, ten corners... It's enough to have scored. Mirandés also had two clear chances, but I deserved to create more. This is the path and the way to go. We wanted to get all three points, but we faced a very difficult opponent to beat, and they did things well."

Juan Cruz: "He played in almost the same position he's been playing lately, but with some nuances depending on the opponent and the player behind him. He had a good game."

Duk: "Mirandés was loaded with yellow cards, and the only player we booked was Duk, and we always take the precaution of trying to avoid being down a man in this very complicated league."

Defensive Disconnections: "It can happen in a game. In their first attack, we weren't accurate in bringing the ball out and we lost our balance, and the same thing happened to us in the second. When you try to combine from the back, you can make mistakes, but we played with that risk. Even so, I haven't seen the team make any major defensive errors; we maintained a good structure and kept a clean sheet. Our deficit is more in the opponent's goal than in our own."
