Draw against Cultural (1-1)

C.D. Leganés earned a point against Cultural Leonesa (1-1) in the 27th round of LALIGA HYPERMOTION. Luis Chacón put the visitors ahead, and Asue equalized for Lega in the final minutes.

Igor Oca made two changes from the last game in Córdoba, bringing in Roberto López and Álex Millán in place of Juan Cruz and Diego García, who started the game on the bench.

Luis Chacón put Cultural ahead after half an hour of play

The match began intensely, with Roberto López's first shot in the 4th minute failing to find the target in Leganés' first attempt of the match. In the 20th minute, Igor Oca was forced to make his first change, bringing on Figueredo at right back in place of Rubén Peña, who was leaving the field injured.

In the 26th minute, there was another dangerous approach, with Franquesa stealing the ball and breaking through, but the Catalan's shot went too wide. In the 31st minute, Cultural Leonesa took the lead with their first shot on goal, with Luis Chacón making it 0-1. Lega tried to react to the blow of the away goal, but failed to create any danger until the end of the first half, which ended 0-1.

Asue equalized in the 89th minute to save a point

The second half began with a second change in the Pepineras' ranks, with Cissé coming on to replace Roberto López. Juan Soriano saved a shot from Sobrino for Cultural in the 48th minute, while Figueredo responded with a header from a corner that Badía cleared with difficulty after it touched a defender's arm. Neither the referee nor VAR considered the action to be punishable. In the 53rd minute, Millán shot wide from a cross by Figueredo from the right.

Lega dominated possession after the restart, against an opponent who defended and looked to break on the counter. After an hour of play, Duk replaced Diawara to give more bite to the attack, creating chances down the right wing. In the last quarter of an hour, Diego and Asué replaced Óscar Plano and Álex Millán in search of a goal, which came in the 89th minute: Dani Rodríguez took a free kick into the heart of the area and Asué, first time, fired home to score his first goal for the Pepineros and save a point for Lega.

The Pepineros now have 33 points in the standings and will face their next match on Sunday, March 1 (4:15 p.m.) against Real Sporting.
