A goal in stoppage time gives C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino a valuable point against Las Rozas C.F. (2-2)

C.D. Leganés Senior Femenino fought until the end and managed to take a point in their visit to Las Rozas C.F. in the 90th minute thanks to a great goal by Erika from a direct free kick (2-2). Alejandra had earlier scored the first goal for the Pepineras.

The fifth and sixth-placed teams were facing each other in what promised to be a thrilling duel. And it did not disappoint. Ours were looking for their third consecutive win, and the first against a direct rival, while the visitors wanted to achieve a victory to match us on points and get their third win in a row. Both teams had a lot at stake and that was evident throughout the game.
The match started with the Pépineers trailing, and in the fifth minute, the locals took the lead with a great shot that slipped into the corner. The early goal knocked out the Senior, who during the first few minutes were at the mercy of the home team. Our team tried to press the ball out of the local team, but they managed to get away from them. Las Rozas C.F. had several clear chances to increase the score, but Lucia, with great interventions, and the lack of accuracy, prevented it.

Alejandra, in the first half, and Erika, in stoppage time, equalized twice the local advantage.

From the 20th minute onwards, the Senior reacted and began to dominate the game a little more and to reach Las Rozas C.F.'s goal with more clarity. Leganes insisted and the reward came, the goal, the work of Alejandra, who took advantage of a mistake of the locals in the ball out and shot from outside the area to achieve the tie in the 37th minute.
In the second half, the locals went ahead again in the 57th minute, and our team had to recover (again) if they wanted to take something from the Dehesa de Navalcarbón. C.D. Leganes Senior Women's tried until the end with grit and courage and got rewarded. Already in added time, a free kick on the edge of the area masterfully taken by Erika put the final 2-2 on the scoreboard.
