As if it was today… five years ago Leganés won against Barcelona 'B' at Mini Estadi (2-5). Eraso scored a hat trick that day. The pepineros ended the season with a great performance. Eraso scored a hat trick, Álvaro García and Rubén Peña also scored.
Leganés was already saved from relegation and without the chance of getting promoted. The team had to face the azulgranas who were about to be relegated to Segunda Divisón 'B'.
Asier Garitano’s initial squad was: Dani Barrio, Postigo, Mantovani, Santamaría, César Soriano, Erik Morán, Álvaro García, Eraso, Rabello, Rubén Peña and Fran Moreno. Luis Ruiz, Alberto Martín and Aguirre played during the second half.
Barça 'B' started winning through Munir’s goal but Eraso tied before half time. Álvaro García put Leganés ahead on second half but Palencia tied again the match. On the last part of the game Rubén Peña scored the third goal for the pepineros and some minutes later Eraso scored his last two goals to certify a hat-trick.
Leganés reached 55 points and was nineth after his return to second division. The pepineros would play their last match against Zaragoza at Butarque.
