Asier Garitano’ initial squad was: Queco Piña, Postigo, Mantovani, Santamaría, Luis Ruiz, Alberto Martín, Eraso, Velasco, Álvaro García, Carlos Martínez and Carlos Álvarez. Fran Moreno, Abel Suárez and Paco Candela also played on that game.
The match started and the best occasion was created by Carlos Álvarez who shoot near the post. Some minutes after thar Carlos Martínez got injured and was replaced by Fran Moreno.
Queco Piña had a great afternoon and saved the team twice from the locals’ occasions. At the end it was a no-goal tie and Leganés would have the chance to win the series at Butarque.
