C.D. Leganés' coach, Asier Garitano, appeared at a telematic press conference after the match that the pepineros played this Saturday at Butarque against C.F.
Fuenlabrada, corresponding to the thirtieth matchday of LaLiga SmartBank, and which ended with a 0-2 away victory.
For the Puebla coach, "we didn't have a good day and the sensations were not good. Every matchday is very important, especially when you want to close the gap with the best, it's a missed opportunity but we can see how hard it is. We wanted to give continuity to the victory in Oviedo, but now it seems like a step backwards. We have to prepare again, analyze things and try to keep improving".
Garitano acknowledged that "we felt very uncomfortable, with little continuity in attack, in disputes and in second plays they were better than us. In the second half we see that the difficulty is great for all the teams, there are no longer so many differences. People are working hard and even more so when, like today, we didn't have a good day. In the second half we started better, but if they get ahead on the scoreboard everything changes".
Regarding the welcome given to the team before arriving at the stadium, the coach wanted to "thank the fans for continuing to believe in this team. The reception was very good and I'm sure that, like all of us, they were very disappointed. We can see that the fans are very excited, but we will continue to fight".
