Asier Garitano: "With this victory in the last minute everything becomes a little stronger and that is fundamental to continue believing in what we are doing".

C.D. Leganés' coach, Asier Garitano, held a press conference after the match between the pepineros and U.D. Almería, played this Wednesday at Butarque, which ended with a 2-1 victory thanks to a goal scored by Omeruo in the 94th minute.

"This matchday gave us the chance to reduce points to all the teams and, if on top of that you get three points, all the better. When you get the victory in the last minute everything gets a little stronger, the mood is very good and that is essential to continue believing in what we are doing".
When asked about the match, Garitano assured that "we believed until the last moment that we could do it and after so much insistence, the goal came at the end, but it is true that we were very imprecise at the beginning and going behind on the scoreboard against a team that demands so much from you is not easy and we have to give it value. I would have liked us to have been calmer, but the clearest chances fell in our favor".
After this victory, the coach insists that "at Lega we are what we are, what happened in the past is over and I don't want any comparison because that's not what we live for. This is another story and we have to stick to where we are now, to this moment, with these players and in this league and keep insisting and improving".
