C.D Leganés beats the million supporters on social media

C.D. Leganés have reached the million subscribers on their different social media accounts, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube and Sina Weibo. One Historic achievement that permits the club to transcend day after day of the leganeses, and all the people that can  have born interest in the institution. 

This fact has their origin from the year 2009, the year that the club counted with less than a thousand subscribers without the presence of the digital era. Since that year the club started to expand their communication and update their website, open new profiles on social media alongside with diverse campaigns that will have a presence on the streets, schools and hospitals, activities that now at day are on. 

A well recognized identity based on the sense of humor and the closeness, and dramatization of football.

Since then we have been constant and following the same idea, Leganés have been capable of building a identity well recognized  based on the sense of humor, closeness and the dramatization of this sport. This is a pioneer way in football to show the communication that fortunately have extended to the sector and change the rigid and traditional way that was set before.

This is a way to get people to be able to bring more supporters not only from Leganés or the community of Madrid, but the rest of Spain and out of our borders. One result  that hasn’t been possible to reach without the support of the pepinero fans that are with us on the good or bad moments, and are the motor of our club in the streets or the benches like the one in the digital world. 

C.D. Leganés reached the fourth team of LaLiga SmartBank with more supporters behind some historic teams like Real Valladolid, Málaga C.F. and U.D. Almería and occupied the fifteenth place on the classification of teams on Primera División.
