C.D. Leganés losses a crucial match against Athletic. Own goal by En-Nesyri gives the three points to the Basques.  

With rain present during a huge part of the match in Butarque, the game started with a Leganés marking their territory by possessing the and controlling the ball, aiming for Iago Herrerin’s goal, mostly with shots by Gumbau and Kravets in the first few minutes. Crosses by Juanfran targeting for Carrillo and En-Nesyri were also present during the first half.

Since the field was wet due to the constant rain, players from both teams sent many long passes to beat their rivals defense and tried to take advantage of counter attacks, but none of the teams found their way to the goal. Around the 30thminute, Iñaki Williams tried his luck shooting Cuellar's goal, but the ball went way over the crossbar.

As minutes passed, bad luck hit Leganés. A corner kick for the Basque side, En-Nesyrii tried to clear the ball but unfortunately it went straight to Cuellar's net. Giving Athletic the advantage of the match.

In the second half, the cucumber side kept the possession of the ball and tried to dominate the match, getting closer and closer to the former cucumber goalkeeper, Iago Herrerín. Pellegrino tried as to win the match strategically managing the team by substituting Siovas, Kravets and Rodri Tarín by Bustinza, Braithwaite and El Zhar.

Lega tried over and over and in all possible ways but always unsuccessfully. By the 78th minute, Williams has a one versus one  against Cuellar but the cucumber goalkeeper made a remarkable save.

The game was getting closer every minute to the end of the match and lega feared losing points, leading El Zhar to a shot that went over the crossbar by a little. At the end, Leganés lost the three points and Athletic became the third team to beat the cucumbers at home.
