C.D. Leganés wins its second preseason match (1-2)

Goals from Miguel de la Fuente and Said overturned Louisville City's early lead (1-2).

C.D. Leganés played their second preseason friendly match on Saturday, now on American soil, against Louisville City. Paco López's side managed to overturn Wilson's goal thanks to goals from Miguel de la Fuente, from the edge of the area, and Said from a corner kick, thus securing their first preseason victory.

The Pepineros took to the pitch at Lynn Family Stadium with the clear intention of controlling the ball and dominating from the start. Proof of this was Duk's chance in the opening minutes from a pass by Diego, which was easily saved by the home goalkeeper.

Despite having possession of the ball, the Blue and Whites were caught off guard by Louisville City's goal, with Wilson taking advantage of a rebound on the edge of the area after a corner kick. The goal did not discourage Paco López's men, who managed to equalize a few minutes later thanks to a great goal by Miguel de la Fuente, who placed his shot in the top corner. On the brink of halftime, Said picked up a rebound that he himself had created from a corner kick taken by Róber López to put the Pepineros ahead.

The second half, with several changes to the starting lineup, saw the score remain unchanged thanks in part to a great save by Javi Garrido, who came on as a substitute for Juan Soriano, preventing the equalizer with a great low save. Lega's most dangerous move, in the final stages of the match, came from Duk, who tried his luck with a free kick on the edge of the area, but the American goalkeeper cleared it for a corner.

The match ended 1-2 to C.D. Leganés, giving the Blue and Whites their first victory in their second preseason test.
