Jorge Broto: “We have managed to settle as a strong and competitive academy”

C.D Leganés’ Academy director Jorge Broto analyzed the end of the season after the Madrid Football Federation’s decision of finalizing the competitions.

The director is satisfied with the final balance of the season but is saddened about the fact that Leganés 'B' couldn’t dispute the promotion playoffs to Segunda División 'B' after being among the first four for more than half of the league: “It was a season that we were convinced about Leganés 'B'’s capacity to fight for promotion but unfortunately COVID-19 pandemic did not allow us to continue our pursuit of that dream”.

Broto highlights all the good job of the academy teams: “I consider that in general we have managed to settle as a strong and competitive academy thanks to the effort of all the people that are part of the academy and the player’s work on their growth and the achievement of their dreams”.
