C.D. Leganés' coach, José Luis Martí, appeared at a telematic press conference after the match played by the pepineros at the Gran Canaria Stadium, which ended with a 2-1 victory for U.D. Las Palmas.
The coach valued the match against the Yellows: "My future is to continue working, to have a committed group and to prepare for the next match against Lugo. Once again, we have not had the necessary success. I have no doubt that the team will fight for promotion. We were aggressive in the opponent's field, taking risks and having the forward line. In the first half we had some chances, two cancelled goals... After the expulsion, we continued to work well on the outside, we had the 1-2 and we lacked the skill, patience and tranquility to not make the mistakes that led us to defeat".
Martí is confident in the work and attitude of his players: "We work to win games, we do everything we can to do so, and the goal was not enough to do it today. We plan the matches according to the opponents we have in front of us. We outshot our opponents even with a player down for 45 minutes. This group is committed and that will pay off.
