Rodri Tarín: “The club and I have the same idea: to put C.D Leganés back where it deserves”

C.D Leganés´ football player Rodri Tarín was interviewed by the club after his contract renewal confirmation for two more seasons until the end of the 2022/23 season. The center back is delighted about his renewal and thankful with the club and the fans for the love received.

“You realize who is really with you in the difficult situations. I cannot help but get emotional because I remember how everything started when I arrived here. Leganés has helped me to become a professional player and was there for me when I was having a hard time. This renewal and the love both club and fans have for me are things that make me proud”.

“The club and I have the same idea: to put C.D Leganés back where it deserves and where it has been performing and demonstrating on the recent years. We agree on the same objective. We understand that that humbleness and respect are key to perform on an equal and competitive category as the one we are right now. We must be aware that not just because coming from first division we will win all the matches”.

At the end, Tarín wanted to send a message to the fans: “When I arrived, I was a stranger for the fans and now I feel very loved. I miss the fans at Butarque, they have made us a strong home team and want to thank them for how the have treated me”.
