As if it was today… five years ago Leganés got a point against Osasuna at Butarque with a last-minute goal. The pepineros tied the match thanks to Chuli’s goal.
Leganés was already saved from relegation and looking for a win to try to get on playoff positions. Osasuna was fighting for the survival and also needed a win to prevent getting on the red zone.
Asier Garitano’s initial squad was: Serantes, Rubén Peña, Postigo, Carlos Gutiérrez, César Soriano, Alberto Martín, Sergio Prendes, Eraso, Diamanka, Álvaro García and Chuli. Aguirre, Borja Lázaro and Rabello got to play during the second half.
The visit team started winning on the first half with a goal by Kenan Kodro after a penalty kick called by the referee on a light fault of César Soriano over Oier. Chuli scored the equalizer on the 85th minute after an assistance by Diamanka.
Leganés got a point at home and was to play the two remaining matches with their goals fulfilled after their return to second division.
