As if it was today… one year ago Leganés got one point on its match against Celta at Butarque (0-0). The pepineros kept some distance from relegation spots after another matchday of the season which did not have many occasions for both teams.

Mauricio Pellegrino’s team were 7 points away from the relegation red zone with 12 remaining points to be disputed. Winning would allow the team to mathematically save from relegation but losing would mean a complicated situation for the pepineros because they were facing Celta, a direct rival. Leganés’ initial squad was: Cuéllar, Nyom, Bustinza, Omeruo, Siovas, Jonathan Silva, Óscar, Recio, Vesga, Braithwaite and En-Nesyri.
