As if it was today… two years ago Leganés qualified mathematically to next LaLiga’s season. Even though the team lost at Bernabéu the previous day, Deportivo’s loss against Barcelona allowed the pepineros to secure a spot on the first division for next season.

Leganés played against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on April 28^th, 2018. It was the 35^th LaLiga’s matchday and a tie would allow the pepineros to secure a spot out of relegation.
