C.D Leganés’ manager met the media at I.D Butarque’ press room on Friday before the 26th match day against Deportivo Alavés.
“We must put ourselves out of pessimism and negative environment. There are 13 matches remaining and we must continue fighting, the have failed to protect the areas and must work on that. Focus will be the key on free kick shots”, remarked Javier Aguirre. “The team is feeling well, we will play with order and focus on the areas”.
About the RFEF’s response to the exceptional request by the club to be able to sign a new player after Braithwaite’s leaving, Aguirre declared: “We hoped they would help us but we must work with the ones we have, Guido and Guerrero are ready to show what they are capable of. We won’t excuse ourselves, I completely trust in the team and know we will move forward”.
