C.D. Leganés were unable to pick up points in their Matchday 37 fixture at Ontime Butarque against F.C. Andorra (0–4). Cardona, just before half‑time, and Alende, Cerdà and Le Normand in the second half, scored the visitors’ goals.
Igor Oca introduced two changes to the Leganés starting XI compared to the previous matchday, with Lalo and Óscar Plano returning to the lineup in place of Ignasi Miquel, who was left out of the squad due to discomfort, and Guirao.
Marc Cardona, at the edge of half time, put Andorra Ahead
The first attempt of the match came from Andorra, with a long‑range effort by Alende in the 4th minute that Soriano cleared well. Leganés responded with a very clear chance for Duk, whose header from a cross by Cruz hit the side netting when the goal was already being celebrated. In the 18th minute it was Óscar Plano who had an opportunity after a fine counter‑attack involving Duk and Álex Millán, but Owono denied the Mostoles‑born forward.
In the 23rd minute, Nieto had a chance for Andorra following a corner kick, but Soriano reacted sharply to send the ball out for another corner. Leganés replied in the 27th minute with a good move down the right flank by academy player Leiva, who cut inside and finished with his left foot, with Owono gathering the ball in two attempts. Just before the break, Andorra took the lead through Cardona, who beat Juan Soriano in a one‑on‑one to make it 0–1 going into half‑time.
The visitors sealed the match in the second half with goals from Alende, Cerdà and Le Normand.
There were no changes for the pepinero side after the restart, and the first chance of the second half fell to Naim in the 51st minute, following a through ball from Juan Cruz that the academy player was unable to convert past Owono. However, it was Andorra who struck again, with Alende widening the gap to 0–2 in the 53rd minute.
Leganés tried to react with a triple substitution from Igor Oca, who brought on Guirao, Roberto López and Asue in place of Cissé, Óscar Plano and Álex Millán in the 57th minute.
In the 63rd minute, the visitors scored their third goal through Cerdà, whose powerful strike beat Juan Soriano. Dani Rodríguez then replaced Leiva shortly afterwards. Roberto López had a chance to pull one back in the 72nd minute, but his effort from Owono’s rebound crashed against the post. In the closing stages, Le Normand, on another counter‑attack, made it 0–4, bringing the match to an end.
Leganés remain on 42 points in the standings, and their next fixture will take place on Friday (18:30) against R.C. Deportivo.
