Lega fails to score at Anoeta (2-1) 

C.D. Leganés failed to pick up any points in their visit to Real Sociedad ‘B’ at Anoeta (2-1), in a match corresponding to matchday 13 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION. Diawara scored for Lega, but Ochieng and Díaz, from a VAR penalty in added time, scored for the home side.

Paco López made three changes to the Leganés lineup from the last league match: Uruguayan Sebastián Figueredo came in at right back in place of Rubén Peña, Marvel returned to the starting eleven after serving a suspension, replacing Ignasi Miquel, and Naim returned to the left wing in place of the suspended Duk. The match began with an early chance for Real Sociedad ‘B’ in the 7th minute, with a header from Ochieng that went wide.

Lega, who were wearing their second kit for the first time in an official match this 2025/26 season, sought to take control and their first chances came from Naim on the left wing. However, the home side took the lead in the 18th minute through Ochieng, who took advantage of an assist from Carrera after a long ball to make it 1-0.

Leganés couldn't get going, unable to create any dangerous chances in the first half hour of the game. Álex Millán came close in the 35th minute, breaking down the left, but the defense prevented his killer pass. A similar situation arose in the 38th minute, with Naim breaking through and passing back, but finding no one in the box to finish. También Roberto López gozaba de una buena opción en el 76’, pero Fraga desviaba su zurdazo de primeras. Ya en el 78’, cuarto cambio de Paco López, entrando Melero por Diawara en el centro del campo. Y acto seguido, otra para Jorge Sáenz tras un córner que atrapaba Fraga.

Todo se iba a torcer en el 84’ tras una rigurosísima expulsión de Melero por dos amarillas en un minuto tras dos acciones levísimas, la primera de ellas ni siquiera falta, pero que el colegiado Germán Cid consideraba suficientes como para expulsar al futbolista madrileño. Aún así, el Leganés se marchaba por la victoria en inferioridad. Sin embargo, el golpe definitivo iba a llegar en el añadido, con un penalti señalado a instancias del VAR por manos de Jorge Sáenz que Díaz transformaba en el 97’ para el definitivo 2-1.

El Leganés se queda sin sumar por segunda jornada consecutiva, y afrontará su siguiente compromiso el domingo 16 (14:00 horas) de nuevo a domicilio, esta vez frente al Ceuta.
