Enric Franquesa returned to play at Ontime Butarque ten months later

On Monday, C.D. Leganés welcomed Enric Franquesa back to the pitch at the Estadio Ontime Butarque more than ten months after his injury. The Catalan full-back, who was injured in November 2024, played his first minutes at home in the match against C.D. Castellón.

Franquesa, who had already returned to competition in the away match against Cultural Leonesa, returned to action in front of the blue and white fans after coming on at half-time in last Monday's match in place of Duk, receiving the affection of the Pepinera fans, who gave him a standing ovation as he took to the pitch.
